· To Run RoboDoom you will need one of the following setups. The Legacy (Mac) FINAL and the Zdoom (Windows/Linux) FINAL will be DIFFERENT from each other in what levels appear and some special effects. The graphics and weapons replacements for the most part will be the SAME.

For Zdoom (Windows and Linux machines), CSDoom, Skulltag (or whatever they're calling it now) and any Zdoom-derived engines --

  • Zdoom v. 1.22. -- That is what version RoboDoom is being programmed and playtested under.
  • Doom2.wad v. 1.9 -- This is the resource file from the Doom 2 commercial game.
  • The current WIP/Release of RoboDoom (Currently the filename starts with B5*.wad).

For Legacy (Mac Legacy, Windows Legacy, etc.) --

  • Current applicable version of Legacy.
  • Doom2.wad v. 1.9 -- Universal on all machines.
  • The current WIP/Release of RoboDoom: NOTE! Your level file will be a different filename.
